Laos - In a nutshell - 4000 Islands & Huay Xai

Unfortunately we didn't spend enough time in Laos as we wanted to - in fact we almost sprinted through the most part of it but the place is stunning, people are fantastic and its cheap...
Although both of these locations are at the opposite ends of the country i didn't take enough pictures of either to warrant individual sections.

Cambodia - Ban Lung

This remote part of Cambodia was the most adventurous - i was hoping for some adrenaline pumping activities, white water rafting, mountain climbing however i was Bang out of luck since we were there in the wrong season..
Never the less the National Parks were beautiful and once again the people were awesome... I for one am a firm believer that people and their attitudes - can either break or make a place...

Cambodia - Motorcycle Diaries in Kratie & the Irrawaddy Dolphins

One of the things before i said before leaving home, was that i would never ride a motor bike whilst in S.E. Asia; hence why Ive been sitting on the back of Jade's bike like the wimp that i am... I mean that has been stressful enough. Until we embarked on a mammoth journey from Siem Reap to Kratie where we met 2 motor bike enthusiasts. They convinced me everything will be fine & there was no need to worry, since i was in safe hands...

So i did... & It turned out it was one of the best experiences of this trip... In fact i think i want one!!!
not only the bike ride but the village we drove through, and the locals we met. the entire package was just perfect...

 A little snack...Fried Cricket

Grandma was rubbing a coin in between his
muscle tissue & bones. & I have no idea why....

Evil Kan-evil - at his best!

The real reason we ventured to Kratie was to catch a glimpse of the Freshwater Irrawaddy Dolphins...
Even though we caught more than just a glimpse. i found it quite hard, to get a decent shot of these miniature whale looking creatures...

I think their shooting for National Geographic

Here's a picture - so you can get the picture

Cambodia - Siem Reap - Angkor Wat

Thee biggest anti climax i have every had the misery to experiencing - is that the main Wat (picture post card beauty) is covered in a green mesh as its been renovated it looked so ugly i didn't want to risk damaging my camera... However everything else is certainly exceeded my expectations...

I just wished i stayed here longer...
