Bolivia - Rurrenabaque - The Pampas

This is the gateway town to the Amazon Basin... The Original plan was to spend New Years Eve in the PAMPAS (The Wetlands) However due to the Petrol Strike in La Paz no-one could enter or leave La Paz as angry mobs burned tires across the roads..... Our Coach was 6hrs Late.. we missed the tour by 1 hour...
However the wait was well & truly worth it.

The local buses are painted extravagantly, not like the ones at home
this one was one of my favorite...
