Thailand - Round 1 - Koh Tao

Its known to be the cheapest places to learn how to Scuba dive.. The place is like a conveyor belt of backpackers getting the course under their belts... The diving is decent But the dive school we went with weren't up to scratch at all They were unorganized, unprofessional at times, and just generally attempted to blag there way through everything! Simply shambolic, for instance.... Thankfully I am confident in the water, but when your Diver master pushes you into the water, before you have all your equipment on. All because he's chasing some tail.. doesn't show any professionalism or any regards for any ones safety...
Granted i spent most of my time in the water on on the dive boat to say anymore about the island... to be honest i was there because i could dive a lot and for cheap.... Just don't bother going with the company i did...Simple Life Divers they are light years away from being 5 star PADI...

We did go see a "professional" Muay Thai Kick boxing event - although it was really exciting, funny to make friendly bets etc, at times the matches were obviously rigged and unevenly paired... It was a Joke either way....

Certainly SIMPLE But its not worth your LIFE!!

Evenly matched don't you think??

Amateur? or Professional?
&
Who said that size matters!

Thailand - Round 1 - The Adventures of Pai

Located 3 hours North of Chang Mai, Pai was just magical, its difficult to explain really, but if you can imagine a place were your instantly relaxed and feel comfortable, the town is small, the scenery is wonderful & although its now more known... The adventure we had around the surrounding area, on our scooters for 2 days & 1 night will not only, certainly be amongst my top 10 experiences whilst traveling, But also quickly evaporated that negative illusion i originally held of Thailand of being far too touristic...

$2.00 per night in our bungalow
